BBC Faces Funding Scrutiny


The panel to analyse the future funding model of the BBC has been announced. There are some notable names on there, including former leaders at ITV and Channel 5, as well as prime minister Rishi Sunak’s former director of communications Amber de Botton. There’s no doubting the expertise on the panel, but I’m not entirely sure it could be described as “pro-BBC” either. The direction of travel seems clear.
