Channel 5 often gets lost in the debate about streaming and British public service broadcasters. I confess I don’t spend much, if any, time watching it. However, recent figures show plenty of people do. There is something very interesting going on there.

Apple Needs a Play for MLS After Messi

To state the obvious, Lionel Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami in 2023 was a big deal. It mattered to both the MLS and its media partner Apple, which owns the global rights to the league for a decade and used the World Cup winner as a key way to sell its Season Pass subscription. However, the Argentinian icon’s contract runs out at the end of the 2025 season.
