Welcome to The Addition, where I cover the crossover between culture, media and sport. On Monday morning, I settled down to watch the Women's Football Show on the BBC iPlayer, hoping to catch up with the highlights from the Crystal Palace vs Spurs game. Technically, I was able to. They were on my TV, but the soggy London weather led to clips that were barely watchable as the camera was covered in rain. For some reason, nobody actually doing the filming dealt with this. Media companies wouldn't let men's football highlights, even those from the lower tiers of the game, be almost unusable. It shouldn't be ok in the women's game either.
Changes to The TraitorsThe Traitors UK season three is over and it feels like it is the biggest one yet. This may just be down to my increased awareness, (I wrote previously that I had become obsessed with the show after tuning in for the first time,) but it does feel like a tipping point. However, Reach, the company that publishes the Daily Mirror, amongst others, seem to have somewhat limited themselves. Ahead of the game, Jack Benjamin at...

There's lots more on Super Bowl LIX coverage below, but one thing in particular did make me laugh. The Fox cameras panned to Rupert Murdoch taking in the game at the New Orleans Superdome. Cue gushing from commentator Kevin Burkhardt, who expressed his excitment at seeing "the boss" sitting in the crowd. Sponsored by: 1440 News. Without...

Super Bowl Sunday! Radio Row! Taylor Swift! It's fair to say the hype has well and truly started for this Sunday's Super Bowl.
