I do wish though that commentators and pundits would stop talking about women's football in such a patronising way. Give praise where it's due and, crucially, criticise where appropriate. There seems a determination from some in the media to never say anything negative at all. I'm sure I heard Gabby Logan talking about how amazing the penalty shootout, in which only five of 14 spot kicks were scored, was! It is nonsense and does the growth of the game no good at all.
